In honor of this very gray day I decided to do all my sneak peeks in black & white. I think black and white is so clean & classic. It makes for pictures you will enjoy for years to come.
Baby J was one of the most laid back babies I have ever photographed. I don’t think I heard a full on cry the whole time I was there. He didn’t like me moving him around but once he got comfortable he was more than happy to pose any way I wanted. And I took advantage of it!
Baby S was such a curious little girl. She definitely had her own agenda and we were all along for the ride. These sneak peeks are a few of the pictures that I loved. The first one is a surprise favorite. Mom expressed that she definitely wanted a picture of their wedding rings on her toes, but when Baby S feel asleep with her hand open I spotted an opportunity. I have a picture like this from my son and I still can’t believe his hand was ever that tiny. The second one I had to take because Baby S loved skin contact, so she would just burrow her way into Mom and fall asleep happy. And for the last one, I’m just a sucker for pouty faces.

I love meeting newborns, especially ones who I first saw as a bump in their Mommy’s belly. Baby M was such a sweet little lady who was content to be wide awake as long as I kept her snuggled up. But all the fun in a newborn session is when they are sleeping, so after a few feedings from Mom she finally decided to take a little nap.

Baby S was such a joy to photograph. He was wide awake for most of the session, and had the head control of a 4 month old! But I guess he didn’t know that I can channel my inner baby whisperer and put even the most curious cutie to sleep.
